FRANKENSTEIN Live for Halloween 2012

Live radio lives! Once again the Willamette Radio Workshop presents it’s eleventh annual Halloween extravaganza. WRW presents Frankenstein, adapted by Cynthia McGean. This will be the full-blooded masterpiece. A tale of science and passion, creation and betrayal, love, loss and horror. A classic story, perfect for the Halloween season. Ms. McGean’s adaptation won a special Ogle Award for her work (very fittingly named after the actor who played the Creature in Thomas Edison’s first Frankenstein film). The show is recorded live and chock full of manual sound effects in the style of the Golden Age of Radio with a few modern touches for good measure.

All shows are free and open to all ages, the subject matter may be a little intense for younger listeners. Kennedy School hosts FREE trick or treating for the kids all afternoon, especially helpful on rainy days. Have a beer and something to eat and enjoy Halloween without all the rain and cold. Copies of local audio drama can be purchased from Joe Medina and Jamie Lawson at our swag table.
