This year we are performing three amazing radio scripts, we begin with the classic “The Cave of Night” by James E. Gunn, where we find an astronaut lost in space. Can the world rescue him in time? The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America made Mr. Gunn its 24th Grand Master in 2007 and we are anxiously awaiting his latest novel TRANSCENDENTAL which Tor will be publishing on Sept. 28th. Next up is Terry Bisson‘s “They’re Made Out of Meat.” Two aliens contemplate the nature of mankind and have a hard time believing what lives on Earth. A great comic turn.

We conclude with The Anachronic Man: The Original Dr. Who, by H.G. Wells. This story started out as a precursor to The Time Machine, but our award winning adapter Cindy McGean found another sci-fi masterwork that must have been inspired by this short story. See what you think.
